This Lake is located in The Trinity Alps region of California. The coordinates are +40° 55' 47.10" - 122° 52' 35.22".
Many people are claiming that it is in Virginia but Virginia just doesn't have the topography to create vistas like this. If you use Google Earth to search the coordinates you can see the group of trees near the center of the closest shore and almost recreate this photo by zooming and panning.
